We have 3 branches in Mumbai, they being at Chembur, Bandra and Powai. Our Chembur clinic was established in 1994 and is currently in its 13th year. This branch was recently re-launced as the Ladies Spa-cum-family Salon. The Bandra clinic was started in 1999, which was followed by the Powai Branch.

SPA Treatments at Nirmal’s

The services at Nirmal include a whole range of skin, hair and body treatments and massages all specially designed and products used are blended and used on a daily basis. These freshly ground packs are made from fruits, dry fruits, veggies, flowers and leaves, In special cases herbs are used. All salon services like facials massages, pedicure and manicure are done with freshly ground pastes.

Hair treatments are done for nourishing and revitalizing dull damaged hair. Certain specialized treatments are done for those with colored hair to balance the effects of coloring. Hair loss due o dandruff, stress and nutritional deficiency is also tacked and treated with success in a period of three to six months.

Hair coloring is done with nature’s own coloring agent Henna which is ground and blended with fruits and veggies of different kinds.  Fruit henna as she calls it is the best and people love it for its color and besides it does not make the hair dry and brittle.

Special Hair Washes and rinses with fresh fruit and dry fruits juices, coconut water and milk, green tea and lemon drop rinses.

Face treatments:

Facials and clean-ups are done with cleansers like lentils astringents like cucumbers gentle exfoliation with fruit packs and massages with a saffron or aloe base to which are added natural pastes and extracts of fruits depending upon the requirement.

Kinds of facials- saffron, aloe, dry fruit, wheat germ and jojoba. Facials are done with all freshly ground dry fruits and fresh fruits with a combination of blended oils of jojoba, primrose, olive and others.

The special Nirmal facial is a definite try and never forget kind for it goes beyond and hour or so with massage for the arms back face neck and scalp thus emphasizing on all the supporting muscles.

Other treatments for the face are for pigmentation, dark circles around eyes, pimples, acne vulgaris, warts and many more.

Manicure and Pedicure:

Your hand and feet are in for Royal Pampering. To begin with a soaking of hands and feet in warm water to which neem lotion and rose water and petals are added.

Safe cleaning with sterilized equipment and a pampering massage with Nirmal’s honey cocoa butter cream thereafter scrubs made of lentil and dry fruits peel mixed with almond are rubbed and massaged and later scrubbed with veg loofah’s and coconut milk.

Children above ten years come in for hair treatments. Products made for children are given for daily home use like bath scrubs which can avoid tanning and sunburn besides acting as a disinfectant.

Spa Bridal Package at Nirmal Herbal

Who says History doesn’t repeat itself , it does at Nirmal Herbal under. Nirmala Shetty Beauty therapist and Naturopath & Masters in Alternaternatives to give you a day to feel  like a princess. Dream as if you are Cleopatra or Mumtaz you are bound to be pampered so much that you will feel it to be true. Yes Brides need to be pampered. And the bridal package is must try on even if you are already a bride.

There are various kinds of packages;

The three month package: This begins 3 months before the wedding and is especially for those who have skin related or hair related problems. It is also for those who wish their skin to look brighter and their hair healthier. During these three months they are under the guidance of Dr. Nirmala Shetty and these clients are made to go through sessions of clean-ups and hair care sessions. A basic naturopathic diet with emphasis on natural foods like fruits and veggies, soups and herbal juices are recommended. Freshly ground packs of almonds, apricots, herbs, lentils, leaves, seeds are applied and all these packs are done on daily basis. To treat graying freshly ground henna leaves to which rare herbs and dry fruits are added. Once a month a body scrub of lentils and dry fruits are applied and certain dry powders are given as a daily bath ritual to be carried out at home.

The one month package: 

These are for those who don’t have problem skin or hair. Yet there are some who have never applied packs or creams ever. This may be their first facial so testing of skin should be done one month before the wedding rather than trying out everything just 2 to 3 days prior to the wedding. Every ingredient that will be applied 3 days before the wedding is tested and tried out so that there is absolutely no possibility of any kind of rash or allergies prior to the wedding.

The finale which can be split into 3 days prior to the wedding

You are greeted with a fresh lemon and ginger and dash of cinnamon drink and led in for a complete consultation with Dr. Nirmala Shetty to know about your skin and hair type.

Then you are left to be treated and pampered under the hand of her trained staff who will explain the list of treatments promising to make you glow with pleasure. You are made comfortable and your feet are put into warm rose and neem scented water and the face is cleansed with lentil cleanser and the eyes are treated with cool compresses of cucumber.

The hair is treated with a special herbal oil (Nirmal Herbal Product) followed by special juices of dry fruits and flowers. AT your feet below the masseuse kneads, tones and removes the stress out of your muscles. while the soft ,piped Indian classical music lulls your senses. Then you are moved into their Spa room wherein the body massages will totally drift you into a sensuous dream. This is then followed by a facial wherein not creams but freshly ground saffron mixed with almond milk is massed gently. After the massage is the finale with a Cleopatra bath with various scrubs made from cereals and rice and barley power or almonds and honey and then thick coconut and almond milk blended with natural essential oil of your choice being poured all over to leave you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

The best part of all this is that natural ingredients have been used after they have been thoroughly acquainted with your skin and its sensitivity.
